My deepest condolences to the family. May you find comfort in the beautiful words found at Revelation 21:3 & 4, where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all pain, suffering and death. While we wait for this promise to be fulfilled soon, may the fond memories of your loved one comfort you and ease your pain. www.JW.org

She had sooo much patience to put up with my inattention and incompetence as a drummer at Akron. She and Mabel lived at my grandmother's for years. They were dedicated teachers and role models for all of us......lots of fun memories!

What a long, wonderful life Miss Mavis lived! I attended Akron Jr High and High School, and spent many delightful hours under her musical direction, both in the band and singing. All of us students loved her, and she and Miss Bevington were champions and role models to all of us! Tears in my eyes as I remember her, and the light she shone on this world. RIP, Imogene! You shall be missed and revered.

Waterloo High School and the friends and teachers are never forgotten, long after the doors of the school were shut. Miss Mavis was a much-admired and loved teacher, and a sponsor who accompanied our class, the last WHS class, to New York City, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, and Washington in 1967. Rest in peace, Miss Mavis.

Imogene was a tremendous blessing in my ministry! When I started a Tuesday night service for those who could not attend Sunday Imogene agreed to play the organ for us and she added so much to our service! God bless her! I know she is now with Christ in heaven for all of eternity!!!!
