Gladys Mills-Franks

Gladys (Stapleton) Mills Franks, 97, of Auburn, died Tuesday August 1, 2017 at Betz Nursing home. Gladys was born September 16, 1919 in Fort Wayne. She is survived by a sister, Marjorie A. Winn of Fort Wayne; step son, Stephen W. Franks of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 30 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom R. Franks; parents, Harry and Mary Jane Stapleton; daughter, Janice L. Kistler; sons, Ronald W. Mills and Jerry D. Mills; brothers, Jack and Junior Stapleton; sisters, Dorothy J. Kehr and Helen Bland; and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Visitation will be held Monday from 11-1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. Burial will be held in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
