Marsha Jean (Ames) Wilcoxson

MARSHA JEAN (AMES) WILCOXSON, 74, of Auburn, passed away Friday September 30, 2016, at Kingston Care Center, Fort Wayne, IN.

Marsha attended Auburn High School, class of 1960. She retired from Kraft Foods, Kendallville, IN., after serving the company for more than 40 years.

As the mother of a special needs child, Marsha was passionate about supporting The Special Olympics and RISE, Inc. of Angola.

She attended St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Auburn, IN. and Concord United Methodist Church in DeKalb County, IN.

In her retirement, Marsha enjoyed lunching weekly with a group of cherished friends and school-mates called “The Lunch Bunch”. Marsha volunteered her time at the local food bank and RSVP of Auburn, IN.

She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Wilcoxson, of Angola; daughters Terry S. Deter of Auburn and Amy J. Wilcoxson of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard E. and Carrie P. (Reeder) Ames; and sister Cheryl A. (Ames) Sterling.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.
