David E. Frost

David E. Frost, 76, of Garrett, died Saturday October 15, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. David was born August 11, 1940 in Columbus, OH. David had worked at Northern Indiana Fuel & Light and after his retirement, he and his wife Sharon managed North Pointe Crossing Mobile Home Park in Garrett. He was a member of the Garrett Railroad Club and also the Little River Railroad Club. “A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again”. David is survived by his wife, Sharon Frost of Garrett; children, Michael L. (Nedra) Frost of Garrett, Susan E. (Allen) Kline of Garrett, Peter M. Frost of Garrett, and Regina A. (Grit Yates) of Kendallville; grandchildren, MaKayla Frost, Konnor Frost, Brandon (Bri) Kline, Brice (Anna) Kline, Brittany Kline, Kascha Frost, Kyra Frost, Reed Ford and McKenzy Yates; great grandchildren, Mathyas, Melody, Allyson, Alecksa and Auron. sisters, Elaine Aber of Dayton, OH, Anita Green of Dayton, OH, and Lyla Wagg of Virginia; a brother, Bruce Frost of Arizona; and his three dogs.
