Bruce J Laux

“Uncle” Bruce J. Laux, 79, of Butler, died Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler. Bruce was born December 6th, 1936 in Spencerville. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Korea.  He was a member of American Legion Post 202 Butler, Moose, Eagles and VFW. Bruce retired from International Harvester and Charleston Metals. He is survived by a son, Rick Laux of Bloomington, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Helen (Furnish) Laux; sisters, Barbara Herindene and Beverly Zimmer. Funeral service will be held Friday 2 p.m. with visitation two hours prior at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, Auburn. Rev. Dan Bellinger will be officiating. Burial will be held in White City Cemetery, Spencerville with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 202. Memorials may be made to the choice of the donor.
