Vonna J Boots

Vonna J. Boots, 74, of Huntington, died Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family.  Vonna was born March 1, 1949 in Fort Wayne, IN.  She had worked at various retail stores like Kings, Keltches, Hills and K-mart.  Vonna was most happy when she was with her loving family, listening to Elvis with her husband, casinos with her daughters, bingo, crocheting and being around the pool at her daughter’s house.  She is survived by her son David (Dawn) Boots of Tennessee; daughters, Tracee (Brian) Pinnington of Fort Wayne, Leesa (Darrell,Jr.) Fritch of Huntington and Crystal (Jack) Quinn of Huntington; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister Linda Hicks of Fort Wayne and brothers Mark(Julie) Bankson of Churubusco and Bryan Bankson of Fort Wayne.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Boots; parents, Ralph and Betty Bankson; sister Carol Crawford; brother Ralph Bankson Jr.; 1 grandchild and 4 great-grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Estates of Serenity Cemetery 2225 S. Lincoln Blvd. Marion, IN.  Pastor Gary Dilley will be officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the family for expenses.
