Theresa J. Greim

Theresa J. Greim, 71, of Garrett, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born on August 20, 1954, in Fort Wayne, to Jack and Betty Smith.

Theresa worked for many years at Eaton Corporation in Auburn, where she built lasting friendships before her retirement. She cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved being part of their lives as they grew up.

She is survived by her daughters, Angie Hathaway of Garrett and Jamie Greim of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Alivia and her fiancé Konner, Cody, Christopher, and Kyle; her mother, Betty Smith of Searcy, Arkansas; brother, Charles Smith of Hazelton, Indiana; sisters, Jackie Hackett of Searcy, Arkansas, Shirley DeRose of Fort Wayne, and Carol Sheets of Searcy, Arkansas; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Smith; her son, Jack Allen; grandson, Ryan Hathaway; and sister, Laura Logan.

Private services will be held by the family.
