Taysha M. Wilkinson-Sobieski

Taysha M. Wilkinson-Sobieski, 26, of Auburn, died Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  She was born on May 13, 1997 in Fort Wayne to Stacie Laney.  Taysha married Clayton Sobieski on August 22, 2023 in Dekalb County.  She was the manager at Copper Canyon in Auburn.  Taysha loved camping, hiking and kayaking in her years before meeting Clayton.  Together they enjoyed spending time at the zoo and at home with their young son Reid.  They were so excited about saving up to purchase their first home together for their growing family. She was an avid Harry Potter fan and a proud organ donor.  Taysha is survived by her husband, Clayton; son, Reid, mother and father Stacie and Brad Laney of Auburn; brother, Mason Howard of Auburn; sister, Ahryah Laney of Auburn; aunt, Misty Williard of Auburn;  Grandmother Darlene Williard of Waterloo; mother-in-law Christel Kemmerly of Avilla; father-in-law Shane Sobieski of Jackson, MI; 3 sisters-in-law and her loving dog Remy Roo, whom she rescued.  She is proceeded in death by her grandfather Charles Williard. Funeral service Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 1p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior, 11am-1pm, at Pinnington Funeral and Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 5pm-7pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, IN.  Memorials can be made to the family via the funeral home website for expenses of Taysha’s funeral.
