Tamy S. Persons

Tamy S. Persons, 70, 0f Auburn, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at her home with her mother at her side. Tamy was born December 10, 1953 in Angola. She had worked at Bostwick-Braun Ashely Distribution Center, and prior to that she had worked in retail in Kendallville and Angola. She was also “The bread lady” at the Auburn Wal-Mart for 12 years. Tamy enjoyed gardening, searching for bargains and was also a published poet. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Erwin of Auburn; brother, Timothy Erwin of Phoenix, Arizona; nieces, Angela Stickler of Lagrange, Melissa Erwin of Fort Wayne and Jessica Pond of Fort Wayne; special cousins, Lynne & Dick Hickman, Ken & Karen Shelton and Kent & Pat Shelton. She was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Erwin; and a brother, Dale Erwin Per Tamy’s wishes, no public services will be held at this time and a private family service will be held at a later date.
