Sheldon Allen Lockwood

Sheldon Allen Lockwood, 55, of Auburn, died Friday, October 28, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Sheldon was born January 25, 1967 in Auburn. Sheldon graduated from DeKalb High School in 1985 at from Purdue University in 1990. Sheldon had worked as a vet tech at Animal Care Clinic and Auburn Hills Animal Hospital and had also worked at Midwest Vet Supply. He is survived by  two sons, Parker Lockwood of  Fort Wayne, and Skyler Lockwood of Auburn; parents, Gerald and Sandra Lockwood of Auburn; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Don Helbert of Auburn; Nephew, Dain Helbert of Defiance, Ohio; nieces Tawney (Jordan) Forrest of Auburn and Ashton Helbert of Auburn; great nephews, Denver and Weston Forrest of Auburn; uncles and aunts; Larry and Janice Lockwood of Auburn, Dwight James of Fort Wayne, and Dave and Karen Carter of Auburn; He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and LaVoyle Lockwood and George and Bernice James; uncle and aunt, Carl and Jeannette Feller; cousins, Kimberly Hartman and Joshua Clifford. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Juli Lejman-Guy will be officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses directly on Sheldon’s obituary, along with a box at the funeral home.
