Sharon Kay Frost, 80, of Garrett, died Friday September, 8, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett. Sharon was born May 21, 1943 in Kentucky. Sharon had worked in food service at DeKalb Memorial Hospital and Bob Evans Restaurant, and then had worked at Head Start. Sharon and her husband David also managed North Point Crossing in Garrett. “A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes, we’re together again”. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael L. and Nedra Frost of Garrett, and Peter M. Frost of Fort Wayne; daughter, Regina A. (Grit Yates) Frost of Auburn; grandchildren, Makayla Frost, Konnor Frost, Brandon Kline, Brice Kline, Brittany Kline, Kascha Frost, Kyra Frost, Reed Ford and McKenzy Yates; many great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Marcia C. and Alan Fletcher of Rome, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, David L. and Rita Grimm of Galloway, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Frost; daughters, Justine M. Frost, and Susan E. (Allen) Kline; father, Martin Luther Grimm; mother, Frances Jewellene (Sawyers) Grimm. Private family services will be held.
