Rita Marie Krocker

Rita Marie (Bock) Krocker, 99, of Garrett, a faithful servant to God, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Rita was born June 22, 1924 in Fort Wayne.  In her youth, Rita had worked at the Fort Wayne Telephone Company and then at Garrett Flexible for 17 years. She loved music and enjoyed sharing her talent with her family. Rita also enjoyed singing for veteran’s organizations. She was a loving mother to five children, Judith (Sue) Krocker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Mary (George) Wilmore of Garrett, Chris (Tony) Januseski of Garrett, Michael Krocker of Walkerton, and Theresa (Kevin) Huelsenbeck of Fort Wayne; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie Green; brother, Edwin Green. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11-1 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 1 p.m. at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.  Memorial donations may be made to DeKalb Humane Society. Burial will be held in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
