Nancy J. Taylor, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Nancy was born November 2, 1941 in Fort Wayne. She had worked as a librarian at Fort Wayne Community Schools for 22 years. She was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. Nancy was a member of Ken Wigs literary Club and a former member of the Auburn Classic Noon Lions Club, Auburn Improvement Association, Women of the Moose, Ladies of the Elks and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Laura Taylor of Fishers; daughter and son-in-law, Leslye and Bryan Yarde of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Zach (Anna) Taylor, Madison (Derek) Fortune, Abygail (Fiancé Evan Brown) Yarde and Joshua (Lexi) Yarde; great-grandchildren, Weston Fortune, and Avery Fortune. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig D. Taylor; parents, Frank & Stella Mallon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road. Burial will be held in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to Stillwater Hospice. Arrangements by Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.
