Myrna Lou Fettig, 90, formerly of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Myrna was born on October 13, 1931, in Elwood, Indiana to the late Harold DeLong and Delores Haines DeLong. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Sherry Sue, brother, Jerome DeLong, daughter Melissa Fettig Pierce and grandchildren Joslynn and Angela.
Myrna is survived by two daughters, Maureen Briones, South Bend, Indiana, and Laura (Walt) Terlosky of Butler, Indiana and three sons, Mark of Butler, Indiana, Matthew (Marsha) of Kokomo, Indiana,Jonathan (Kay) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Keith of Citrus Heights, California; grandchildren,Chris(Sofia), Doug(Erica), Jason(Sarah), Jenna(Darius), Nicole(Mark), Veronica and Savanna(Kalee); She will also be missed by 9 great-grandchildren.
Myrna started her career at Olan Mills in club plan sales then became a photographer opening numerous studios and training future photographers throughout her long and successful career. She also managed the Fort Wayne-Northcrest location for many years. She spent her life making her family and spirituality her priority. She studied at Camp Chesterfield and became an ordained minister through United Metaphysical Churches on October 10, 2004.
Myrna enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and always had an open door policy at her home. She has made an impact on many lives over the years and will be missed by many including those who she loved as her own.
A celebration of life is being planned for the spring.
