Monica E. Fry

Monica Elise Fry, 48, of Garrett, went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1977, in Morristown, New Jersey.

Monica found great joy in making a house feel like a home. She loved decorating for every season and occasion, paying close attention to even the smallest details. She often said she wanted everything to be perfect because it made her smile. Monica also had an extraordinary green thumb and took pride in tending to her flowers, finding peace and happiness in watching them grow and flourish.

Above all else, Monica’s greatest love was her family—especially her children and grandchildren. They were her heart and her world. There was never a day that went by without her thinking of them or speaking their names, and the love she had for them could be seen in the glow of her face whenever she talked about them.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Fry of Garrett; her mother, Barbara Hart of Indiana; her sons, Dylan FaRannte of Tennessee, Chandler FaRannte and his wife, Katy Norman of Indiana, Gage FaRannte and his wife, Jaydin Duke of Indiana, and Chad Ickes of Indiana; step-daughter, Brittany Fry of Indiana; her cherished grandchildren, Carter, Kennedy, Addy, Alayna, Chandler Jr., Vanessa, Quinn, and Bastian; her siblings, Heleene Johnson of Indiana, Annette Andrews of Pennsylvania, Benjamin Panelli of Indiana, Beth Henley of Pennsylvania, and Matthew Panelli of Tennessee.

Private funeral services will be held for Monica 

Memorial contributions in Monica’s honor may be made at the funeral home to Pinnington Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses or mailed to 502 N. Main Street Auburn, IN 46706.
