Kaya Ray Obituary

Kaya Ray, 23, passed away on October 6, 2025, in a tragic car accident. Her loss is impossible to put into words. Kaya was someone who mattered deeply, and her absence is felt in every space she once filled.

Kaya was the beloved daughter of Janelle Ray and the cherished sister of her twin brothers, Jacob and Jaxon Newland. She was deeply loved by her grandparents, uncles, cousins, and many extended family members and friends. Kaya had a presence that stayed with people- something gentle, real, and unforgettable forming bonds that can never be broken.

Kaya had a way of being herself without effort. Her laughter, her expressions, her energy, and her heart were unmistakably hers. She brought warmth and light into every space she entered, and the love she gave so freely will never fade.

In her passing, Kaya gave the greatest gift of all. Through organ donation, she was able to save the lives of many others. Even in loss, her life continues to matter, to heal, and to give hope – an enduring reflection of the kind of person she was. She had a unique spirit that cannot be replaced, and her absence leaves a silence that words cannot fully describe.

Kaya was not alone in her final moments. Her beloved companion, Hansje, joined her in passing in the accident. The bond they shared remains a comfort and a testament to the love that surrounded her always.

While the pain of losing her is profound, Kaya’s impact is lasting. Kaya’s love lives on in memories, in shared stories, and in the lives she touched in ways seen and unseen. She will always be remembered, always missed, and always deeply loved.

Forever my child. Forever loved. Forever missed.
