Judy Day Obituary

Judy A. Day, 75, of Auburn, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Auburn Village. She was born on December 15, 1949, in Auburn and was a graduate of DeKalb High School.

Judy is survived by her children, Ronald (Jamie) Shover of McKinney, Texas; Don Shover of Mooresville, Indiana; and Crystal (Jonathan) Parker-Chappell of Illinois; her sisters, Deanna Shafer of Garrett, Christina Headrick of Garrett, and Shirley (Dan) Moore of Elkhart; her brothers, Donald G. Nelson of Waterloo and Donald (Laura) Bigger of Auburn; as well as her grandchildren, Ryan Shover, Parker Chappell, Ethan Knox, Marissa Upton, and Amber Owens.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Knox; her mother, Edith Bigger; her father, Donald D. Nelson; grandchild, Lunden Chappell; and siblings Sharon Nelson, Brenda Nelson, Carol Snider, Cheryl Kuntz, Robert Bigger, Ronald Bigger, and Christopher Bigger.

Visitation will be held from 2–4 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Burial will take place at a later date at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Auburn.
