Johnny Patton Sr., 66, of Butler, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Born on February 3, 1958, Johnny was a beloved member of the Butler community, known for his warm heart and friendly spirit. A 1976 graduate of Eastside High School, Johnny spent his career working at CJ Automotive and the Sunoco Gas Station in Butler, where his hard work and dedication were evident to everyone he met.
Johnny was a fun-loving man, always quick to share a smile and a laugh. He was known for his kindness, forgiving nature, and unwavering commitment to his family. His love for life and people made him a cherished friend and confidant to many.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Patton of Fort Wayne; grandson, Johnny Patton III of California; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Noah and Karen Patton of Corunna, and John and Tonya Patton of Nappanee; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Johnny was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Patton Jr.; his parents, Buford and Patsy Patton; and his siblings, Forrest, Mindy, Maggie, Buford, Lewis, Steve and Nadean..
Though Johnny will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
