Jo Enfield Obituary

  Jo Diane Enfield (Jodi), 72, of Hamilton Lake, IN, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on the evening of November 30th, 2025.  She was born to the late John T. Ulery and Marilyn Dawn Studebaker on March 20th, 1953 in Baumholder, Germany, as her father served in the Korean War. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years Ronald L. Enfield, older brother Jeff Ulery, and younger brother Joel Ulery.

  She joined the love of her life, Ronald L. Enfield in marriage August 21st, 1971 in Elkhart IN.  After receiving her Associate’s Degree from IUSB, she began her career at the United States Postal Service.  After more than 30 years of respectable service, she retired as Postmaster of Waterloo, IN in 2016.  Jo served as a beacon to the community and touched the lives of many people around her.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling, dancing, sunbathing, but there was nothing more she loved than spending time with her friends, neighbors, and family at her home in Cold Springs.  Jo, absolutely loved lake life, along with vacationing annually to The Bahamas.  She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.

  Jo is survived by her daughters Lisa (Rodrick) Williams of Elkhart IN, Aimée Enfield of Kalamazoo MI, and her son Timothy (Miranda) Enfield of Mishawaka IN. 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.  Her brothers, Denny Ulery of Auburn IN, Jim Ulery of Elkhart IN, sister Donita Ulery of Elkhart IN, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

  A Celebration of Jodi’s Life will be planned in the Spring of 2026 at Cold Springs Resort, Hamilton Lake, IN
