James W Hill

James W. Hill, 69, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, with his loving family by his side. James was born August 21, 1954, in Kendallville, IN. He had worked at Cooper as a Senior Mold Design Engineer, retiring in 2007. James loved to travel to beautiful beaches with his wife Denise. He was always greeted at home in his chair by his faithful companions Sadie and Roxy. Nothing compared to his love of his children and grandchildren, that was his idea of the best times!   He is survived by his wife, Denise Hill; sons, Benjamin and Morgan Hill, of Dameron, MD and Jeremy (Jenny Huynh) Hill of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Holly and Tyler Pyck of Auburn, also his grandchildren; Rylee, Syra, Jaxson, Easton, Hannah, Palmer, Sawyer, Maxine and Matthew, and his sister Diane Rauh of Kendallville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Irene Hill; brother-in-law Doyne Rauh and brother Dennis Hill. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 4-7 p.m., at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior from 1p.m.-2p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Auburn, IN.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Dekalb Humane Society.
