Hugh A Voges

Hugh A. Voges, 85, of Kendallville, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1940, in Ashley, Indiana, to Nealla and John Voges.

Hugh was a man of faith whose life reflected quiet devotion and steadfast values. Hugh proudly served his country in the Army, which he was very proud of. He was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and, along with his wife Donna, never missed an episode of Jeopardy. The two shared a love for camping, Sunday long drives, and spontaneous adventures, finding joy in time spent together. Hugh and Donna were also big Indiana University Hoosiers fans, proudly supporting IU athletics over the years.

He is survived by his son, Mark Voges; his daughter, Richelle Bozynski; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Juanita Corkwell; his daughter-in-law Sherrie Dalrymple and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Voges; his daughter, Melissa Voges; his sons, Richard Dalrymple and Don Dalrymple; his parents, Nealla and John Voges; his sisters, Norma Wolfe, Delores Peckhart, Virginia Frankenstien and Bertha Maurer; and his brothers, Dean Voges and Glen Voges.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn, Indiana. Pastor Daryl Emowrey will be officiating the service.  Burial will take place at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn, Indiana.
