Ellen L. Rowe

Ellen L. (Snyder) Rowe, 90, of Garrett, passed away on Saturday January 21, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett. Mrs. Rowe was born on June 16, 1932 in Bronson, Michigan, a daughter of the late Homer and Henrietta (Chrislieb) Snyder. On November 20, 1948, she married Forrest M. Rowe in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1990. Ellen faithfully attended New Hope Church in Waterloo, Indiana before she became ill. She enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by sons, Raymond Rowe of Garrett, Randy (Cindy) Rowe of Auburn, Rudy Rowe, Ralph Dave (Teresa) Rowe of Garrett and Tom (Jean) Haupert of Butler; daughters, Rita Brown of Auburn, Ronda (Ricky) Maggert of Garrett, Shawn Kimmel of Garrett and Chelsie (Kris) Tadsen of Auburn;  many grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Cindy Rowe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Ricky Rowe and Ronald Jim Rowe; four granddaughters, two great grandsons, one great-great granddaughter; brothers, Johnny, Homer Jr., Leo and Ralph; sisters, Lou Ella Boyle and June Rowe; son-in-law, Joseph Brown. Visitation will be held on Monday January 23, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 24, 2023 at noon with visitation one hour prior from 11 a.m. to 12p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Ralph Diehl will be officiating.
