Duane H. Hartman

Duane H. Hartman, 88, of Pleasant Lake, died Monday, January 9, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Duane was born April 9, 1934 in Helmer. Duane had worked at Dana in Angola before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Hartman of Pleasant Lake; son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Gloria Hartman of Angola; daughters and sons-in-law, Divine and Keith Ormsby of Saint Joe, and Kathy and Rick Seibert of Lagrange; sisters, Rovine High of Garrett and Beverly High of Hudson; grandchildren, Michelle Hoover of Avilla, Jennifer Sears of Warren, Donald Barnes of Battle Creek, MI, Jessie Barnes of Battle Creek, MI, Joyce Ormsby of Fort Wayne, Dallas Hartman of Pleasant Lake and James Fries of Lagrange; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mildred Hartman; and two brothers, Norman Hartman and Leroy Hartman. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Nate Drown will be officiating. Burial will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
