Derryl A. Hawn

Derryl A. Hawn, 82, of Garrett, died Monday, July 5, 2021 at Visiting Nurse’s Hospice Home. Derryl was born March 25, 1939 in Larwill, Indiana, a son of the late John and Thelma Hawn. Derryl was a supervisor at Owens Corning. He is survived by daughters, Jeanna Dunn, Trinka Rinard, Sheila (Mark) Elkins, Ashley (Josh) Slater, Jayne (Tom) Gushwa, Lois (Lloyd) Hatton, Lori Szeman and Karen Teagarden; sons, Douglas Hawn, Donnie (Rene) Szeman and Branden (Krystal) Hawn; 24 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brothers, Kirby (Laura) Hawn and Marion (Maddie) Hawn; sister, Peggy (Rex) Yoder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Lee Hawn; three sisters, two brothers, parents, John and Thelma Hawn; two grandchildren, Jimmy and Ayla; and a great grandchild, Zailyn. Graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. July 15, 2021 at Circle Cemetery, Hudson.
