David C. Simmons

David C. Simmons, 80, of Auburn, died Saturday May 27, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. David was born March 10, 1943 in Fort Wayne. David was a United States Army Veteran and was also a volunteer at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. David had worked at International Harvester and the New Haven Railroad Depot. He is survived by his wife, Rita Simmons of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law, Keri and Mike Davison of Fort Wayne; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Harriett Simmons of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Justice Davison, Charlie Davison, Katie Sharp and  Emily Sansom. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Martha Simmons. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday June 30, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at County Line Church of God 7716 N. County Line Road E., Auburn, IN. Memorial donations may be made to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
