Carson Duane Days, 19, of Auburn, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born on June 17, 2005, Carson was the son of Duane E. Days (Brandy Days) of Auburn and Laci Montgomery (Sara Montgomery) of Leo. He was the only boy among eight children
Carson was a 2023 graduate of Eastside High School, where he cultivated a love for football that extended beyond his playing years to coaching Eastside Little League Football, a role he recently began and deeply enjoyed. He enjoyed wrestling, and was part of the wrestling team at Eastside. Following graduation, he pursued a degree in Manufacturing Engineering at Indiana Institute of Technology and worked at Autokiniton, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to his goals.
He had a love of riding his motorcycle and spending time with his cat Rose “Rose-A-Roni”.
Carson’s family was incredibly important to him. He was a beloved son, brother, and grandson, and his presence brightened the lives of those around him. He is survived by his parents, Duane and Brandy Days of Auburn and Laci and Sara Montgomery of Leo; his sisters, Mikayla Days of Berne, Alysa Frick of Auburn, Kady Days of Leo, Jasmine Days of Garrett, Olivia Days of Leo, Kendra Days of Auburn, and Peyton Days of Auburn; and his grandparents, Linda and Jerry Krock of Avilla, Duane C. and Sue Days of LaGrange, Kelly Earle of Hartford City, Cara and Steve Wiley of Garrett, Rick Fender of Waterloo, and Larie and Kelly Creager of Ashley; great-grandparents, Andy Handshoe of Corunna and Elizabeth Irene Evers of Kendallville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. Carson was also cherished by his girlfriend, Natalee Warstler.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William Evers, Donna Handshoe, Alfred Days, and Ramona Days.
Carson was known for his vibrant and silly personality and the ability to leave a lasting impression on everyone he met. His laughter, energy, and compassion will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial gathering for Carson’s fathers’ side of the family and friends will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 11-1 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 1 p.m. at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services, 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.
Carson’s legacy of kindness and perseverance will remain in the hearts of many, a testament to the remarkable young man he was.
