Carol J. Stube

Carol J. Stube, 89, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett.

Carol was born on November 23, 1935, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Edwin and Jean Granholm. Throughout her life, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Richard Murdock, Christine and Daniel Zimmerman, and Caryn and Rich Allen; her beloved grandchildren, Carly (Michael) Arrigoni, Casey (Kamryn) Ryan, Ashlee Allen, Danny Zimmerman, Alexa Allen, and Kristen Murdock; and her precious great-grandchildren, Brooks Arrigoni, Grace Arrigoni, Sloane Arrigoni, Kaylee Ryan and Makenna Ryan. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Granholm.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Stube; parents; and a brother, Ronnie Granholm.

Carol  will be interred in a columbarium alongside her husband at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
