Wauneita B. Patee

Wauneita B. Patee, 89, of Auburn, died Monday November 6, 2017 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. She was born June 9, 1928, in rural Butler, the daughter of the late Walker and Edith Flowers. She had worked at Universal Tool in Butler, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Christ’s Church at Butler. Survivors include her sons, Allen and Lori Patee of Auburn and Richard Patee of New Haven; daughters, Teresa and Dennis Melchi of Butler and Helen and John Zimmerman of Auburn; sister, Alice Jackson of Churubusco; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Patee; daughters, Joy Wright and Clarissa Patee; brother, William Flowers; and a sister, Aileen Flowers. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m.  Thursday with visitation three hours prior at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Rabineau. Burial will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to Christ’s Church at Butler.
