Vincenza Nepsa

Vincenza (Montanio) Nepsa, 98, of Auburn, died Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. She was born June 9, 1919, in Gary.Vincy (as she was known) was the daughter of Joseph Montanio.  The wife of John J Nepsa Jr who proceeded her in passing. She has three children; sons , John J. Nepsa III (wife Lynnda Petersen) Westfield IN, Joseph V. Nepsa (wife Lexy Wistenburg) Glenview IL, and daughter Paula M. Kuruda (Denny) Auburn IN. She has four grandchildren, Samantha M. Reno (Josh), John E. Nepsa (Gina), Elizabeth E. Goode (Jeremy), and Joseph A. Nepsa, and one great-granddaughter Katrina E. Nepsa; half-brother, John Eloff of Sun City West, AZ; While we were growing up in Gary, our home was a refuge to many a boy or girl who walked through the front door yelling “hey MOM”.  Mom will be missed by many. Visitation will be held Saturday February 24th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Pinnington Funeral and Cremation, 502 North Main Street, Auburn. Burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, 4401 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408. Donations may be made to the Honor Flight of your choosing.
