Norbert G. Timbrook, 77, of Butler, died Saturday February 3, 2018 at his home in Butler. Mr. Timbrook was born July 30, 1940 in Harlan, the son of the late William and Myra Timbrook. Mr. Timbrook graduated from Harlan High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 202, Butler. Mr. Timbrook had worked at Bohn Aluminum for 24 years retiring in 2013. He is survived by his wife Linda Timbrook of Butler; son and daughter-in-law, T. and Dodi Timbrook of Auburn; daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Rick Lanning of Peru; step sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Tina Kirkman of Spencerville, Chad and Devan Kirkman of Saint Joe and Brandon and Tiana Kirkman of Auburn: step daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Don Murphy of Auburn; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Miller of Auburn, Charlene and Al Volkert of Harlan and Ethel Geradot of Blountstown, FL; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by a step daughter, Shelly Purdy. A memorial gathering will be held Thursday from 5-8 pm at Pinnington Funeral and Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Private burial will be held in Harlan Cemetery with military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Administration.
