Kenneth C. Locascio, 75, of Auburn, died Wednesday August 23, 2017 at his home.

After serving in the US Navy, Ken began his career with Ford Motor Company at World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI where he met his wife Dianne.

He was then given the opportunity to join Rockwell International in Military Sales while pursuing a degree from Cleary College, five evenings a week, year around.

Having his degree in Finance the next step was Eaton Corporation.

A few years his boss at Eaton was leaving to take a position with Bendix Corporation and asked Ken to come with him. This then was a move to Ohio for the whole family.

Kens next venture was with Midland Ross handling the International Harvester account which now brought the family to Fort Wayne. This is where both sons grew up and went to school. Ken pursued his Masters Degree at the University of St. Francis during this time.

Given another opportunity, this time with Lear Segler, Ken and Dianne came back to Michigan. Ken stayed with the automotive/truck industry throughout his working career.

Always wanting to return to Indiana, Ken jumped at the offer to be Vice President of sales and Marketing for Douglas Autotech just across the Michigan and Indian border. Ken traveled extensively throughout Europe during this time. Ken retired from Douglas in 2003 and he and Dianne moved to Auburn where he enjoyed golf and volunteering at the ACD Museum.

Kens favorite hobbies were duck hunting, fishing and decoy carving. He enjoyed collecting Lionel trains as well as restoring old cars. In 1975 he purchased his first antique car, a Model A Ford that he completely restored. There were many others to follow. Right now his 1957 Ford Thunderbird proudly sits in his garage.

Ken is survived by his wife Dianne of 52 years; sons, Karl (Angela) Locascio of Zionsville and Kevin Locascio of Fort Wayne; a precious granddaughter, Elena Locascio of Zionsville.
