Gerald "Jerry" L. Kayser

Gerald “Jerry” L. Kayser, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Signature Healthcare in  Fort Wayne. Jerry was born August 1, 1926 in Fort Wayne. Jerry had worked at Dana in Fort Wayne for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Jane Kayser of Fort Wayne; daughter, Judy (Tom) Stephan of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Mark and Matthew Stephan; granddaughters, Melissa Sakowicz and Michelle  Spenn; step sons, Marc Straub of Manitou Springs, CO, Todd Straub of Knoxville, TN, and Scot Straub of Knoxville, TN; step daughters, Robin Hurley of Knoxville, TN, and Tammy Brant of Fort Wayne; step grandchildren, Jennifer Brant, Joseph Brant, Rachel Straub,  Rebecca Straub, and Angelica Hurley; 10 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday with visitation from 12-2 pm at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Rev. Dan Bellinger will be officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Care and Control. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
