Eyoko Dean

Eyoko Dean, 84, of Auburn, died Wednesday November 15, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Dean was born January 30, 1933 in Yokohama, Japan. Mrs. Dean loved animals, especially cats, spending time with her family and friends and watching Major League Baseball to follow the Japanese players.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mariko and Todd Custer of Garrett; grandchildren, Chantal (Grant) Crabtree of Auburn, and Jessica Custer of Garrett; great grandchildren, Brooks and Grady Crabtree. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Dean in 1972; her parents; one brother; and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Chaplain Karen Kosberg will be officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to DeKalb Humane Society.
