Clifford T. Troxell, 81, of Auburn, beloved husband, father, and grandpa passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday July 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Troxell was born May 2, 1936 in Wayne County, Kentucky, the son of the late James and Earie Troxell. He graduated from Worthington High School and attended Butler University. He was a former plant manager at E. Rowe Chemical Company in Indianapolis and Jasonville. He had also worked at USI Chemical in New Castle and Kaiser Chemical in Butler. He was a 56-year member of Jasonville Lodge No. 530 F. & A. M., American Bantam Association and American Kennel Club and the Baptist Church. Mr. Troxell trained beagles and participated in many dog and poultry shows across the country where he earned numerous awards. He loved the great outdoors and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janis Mae Troxell of Auburn; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Tammy Troxell of Traverse City, MI; daughter and son-in-law, Rae Ann and Mark Graber of Auburn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby Kidd of Seymour, Jane and Lowell Wilson of Saint Louis, MO, Mary Baker of Indianapolis and Ina and Charlie Rickenbaugh of English; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Troxell of Mooresville, IN; grandchildren, Brent (April) Troxell, Travis Troxell, Ty Troxell, Jenny (Rich) Graber-Hutto and Kevin Graber; great grandchildren, Bella Troxell, Parker Troxell and Mason Hutto; step great grandchildren Brandon and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Troxell; daughter, Susan Troxell; brothers, James Troxell and Ernie Troxell. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00-1:00 P.M at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. A masonic service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service conducted by Rev. Conrad Mast at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association.
