Steven M. Mullins

Steven M. Mullins, 48 died Wednesday March 29, 2017 at his home.  He was born on September 3, 1968 in Kendallville to Beauford and Lois Jean (Combs) Mullins.  He was a graduate of East Noble High School.  He worked in Maintenance at Accel International in Avilla.  He was a loving father who lived for us for so long with nothing just to take care of us. He loved spending his Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights playing pool for APA.   Everytime we were on the water he was happy, nothing made him happier than going fishing.   Survivors include his parents Beauford and Lois Jean Mullins of Avilla, a son Austin Mullins of Corunna; three daughters Bree Mullins of Bloomington Illinois, Tailor (Justen) Walker of Norfolk Virginia, and Laurin Mullins of Corunna; two brothers Ricky James Mullins of Fort Wayne and Scotty Allen Mullins of Moores Hill Indiana; three sisters Sherry Halsey of Garrett, Tracey Mae Mullins of Fort Wayne, and Michelle J. Stevens of Garrett; a grandson Elijah Corkill; and a maternal grandmother Effie Mae Combs of Garrett.  Funeral services will be Monday April 3, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Pinnington Funeral Home, 502 N. Main St.  Auburn, Indiana, with Pastor  Charles  Mosley officiating.  Visitation will Sunday April 2, 2017 from 3 to 7 P.M.  Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, Indiana.  Memorials may be directed to his four children.
