Remigio "Joe" Quinonez

Remigio “Joe” Quinonez, 93, of Auburn, died Saturday September 16, 2017 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. Mr. Quinonez was born October 1, 1923 in Luling, TX, the son of the late Condelario and Marie Quinonez. Mr Quinonez had worked at Warner Gear in Auburn. He enjoyed bowling, golf, pool and spending time at the Heimach Center. Survivors include his son, Juan Quinonez; daughters, Marta Trostel, Tona Geist and Frances Froelick; brothers, Condelario, Julio and Eusebio; sister, Delores; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Edith Days Quinonez in 1983; brothers, Anselmo, Paulino and Raymond; sisters, Anna and Carman; a grandson, Che Quinonez in 1995; great grandson, Ty Quinonez in 2017. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Thursday with visitation one hour prior at Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Bellinger officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
